Camp News
2007 Thank You
On behalf of the staff and Board of Directors of Singing Hills Ministries Inc., thank you for your continued generous support. In the past six years we have seen many wonderful things take place at Camp Oro Quay. We have helped many families and individuals grow closer to Jesus Christ. Without your support many of these people would not have had the opportunity to attend The Camp. This last summer we had many new groups, including our first Autistic camp, The Youth Round-up, which had guests from 10 different states, as well as many new churches.

There are many big changes that we look forward to starting in 2007. I will now be full time with Singing Hills and working at “Camp” most days year round. We are planning to have our first “Creation Camp”, and are excited to extend our “season” with many rooms now having insulation and heat in the apartments, allowing us now to serve smaller groups in the cold weather months as well as summer groups.

Please pray for the Bell family as they adjust to changes in their financial situation now that Bill no longer holds a job outside of the camp. Continue to pray for the children and families who will attend camp, that God’s work will have a lasting impact. Also pray for resources to finish the next project now underway, the long awaited chapel project.

Our schedule is filling up for the summer and we are excited about the volunteers that are applying for the summer. We have one new student from California, one from Kansas and many others applying for SWAT. In addition, Bill’s sister and family are moving to the camp from California. Karen has worked for 24 years in primary education and will be a big help this summer. Our resident staff now includes Bill & Liesl Bell, Mike & Dana Feulner, Kim Bell, Karen & Dean Miller. We will also have many returning staff including Emily Lenberg who now attends Lubbock Christian, Isaac Simmons from New Mexico Tech, Megan Harvey and Bridget Rammage from CNM and many others. Pray that God will prepare our hearts are we look forward to serving.

Sincerely,

Bill Bell, Director
